Start with memories, not a list of achievements
A family Christmas letter can be a friendly way to reconnect with people you do not see every week. Gather a few details before writing: a new routine, a place you visited, a funny moment and something you are looking forward to. The first page gives these memories separate spaces so the final letter does not become a rushed chronology of every month.
Give each household member a voice
Invite everyone who wants to contribute to choose one memory. Ask before sharing personal news or identifying details, especially about children. A sentence about a favourite book or a shared meal can be more interesting than a long list of milestones. If the year was difficult, you can acknowledge that briefly and choose the amount of detail that feels comfortable for the intended readers.
Build a short, readable update
The second page provides a greeting, a large writing area, a looking-ahead section and a sign-off. Draft the body on scrap paper, then copy the finished version onto the printable. Aim for two or three short paragraphs that a relative can read over a cup of tea. Leave a little white space instead of shrinking handwriting to fit every event from the year.
Prepare the version you actually want to share
Both pages are US Letter handwriting sheets. Print only the finished-letter page when you need several copies, and check one before making the rest. For a more regular newsletter routine, the related pack adds a content planner, subject-line ideas, a sending checklist and a results tracker. Those are planning resources, not a service that writes or sends your family's Christmas letter for you.
